- Born and raised in Delaware, Herb was the fifth child born to a family of four older girls. His mother was an accomplished seamstress and served the local community sewing everything from small alterations, to designing and creating entire wedding party attire. All the children learned to sew and create items with their hands. As an adult Herb sharpened his skills by designing and manufacturing a high quality portable duck blind along with various other hunting accessories. His skills are the perfect solution to supply the needs of our local poultry farmers. His expertise is not limited to the poultry industry. Northstar produces other quality Commercial items that proudly boast, made in the USA. Herb strives to offer the best products available in all his endeavors.
